Not many people actually sit down and think about where they are in their Spiritual journey with Christ. Honestly, this is the first time I have ever remotely considered where I stand. My spiritual life, in my eyes, is not anything to brag about. People must think that because I go to a private, Christian college, I must be this perfect, saint-like girl that knows anything and everything about Jesus. However, you would be very wrong. I still sin; we all do. I have my struggles and I don’t always do the right thing.

As I lay here, I watch my little girl type her college essay on a bright laptop, and I realize that she isn’t so little anymore. She’s grown up, but at least I’m still here with her. I still remember the first day we met. It was love at first sight.
